Taking to heart Jesus’ own love for children, Bellevue seeks to provide a comprehensive and caring ministry to children and their parents, beginning in the Preschool Ministry Department. This department is directed by those who have made a commitment to be there for your preschool or infant child, not only during Sunday School, but throughout each worship service at Bellevue. Because of their dedication to God’s call on their lives, your preschool child will see the same familiar faces in the preschool department at every service on both Sundays and Wednesdays..
Children’s Sunday School for Grades 1 – 6
is a time for building foundational, biblical truths into the lives of children. At Bellevue, God has blessed us with caring and dedicated teachers, who have committed themselves to pray for your children and to challenge them to grow to a deeper love for God and His Word.
is for children in Grades 1 – 6, and meets on Wednesdays from 3:15 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. Every Wednesday, we have snacks, game time, as well as homework time in the Christian Life Center. At 4:30, the children go to the choir room to work on one of our new musicals. At 5:30, children are provided a meal free of charge in the church fellowship hall.
K.I.T. (Kids in Training)
is for children in Grades 1 – 6, and meets on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. It is a time of worship and creative Bible study, led by gifted and dedicated teachers. These teachers lead worship and teach in a way that impressed the Word of God upon the hearts of children, and is lots and lots of fun!
The Student Ministry at Bellevue is fun, biblical, and relational. The students have many opportunities to grow in their faith. On Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m., students meet in the youth hall of the main building, where the students are involved in Bible study. Students join the congregation in a worship service following Bible study. On Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m., there is a time of building relationship through small group study and discussion before the Sunday night worship service. The Wednesday night service begins at 6:00 p.m. and is held in the student building “up the hill”. There are worship songs and preaching, with time before and after the service for fellowship. Students participate in Crossroads Winter Conference in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, during January each year, and Crossroads Summer Camp in Anderson, South Carolina, during the summer. Students and adult sponsors plan and coordinate various fundraisers during the year to make sure everyone has an opportunity to attend.
